The Tijeras Agua Fria winter Rain Barrel is tolerant to warm, cold and freezing conditions. The Agua Fria model is a heavy duty rain barrel designed to withstand below freezing temperatures. The design includes a heavy duty wall providing insulation against freezing temperatures.

Choose from the following options:

• Sizes range from 55 gallons to 360 gallons.
• Choose a Basket top or Flat top with pie shaped or polka dot holes.
• Choose from a wide range of colors (Latte with speckle is standard option and additional color choices are all free to select).

Note: 360 gallon size does not include the Canale with pie shaped holes option.

The top of the rain barrel features an easy-to-clean, basket screen or flat top to keep out leaves and bugs. There is an internal overflow port with a linking valve compatible with standard garden hoses for easy watering directly from the rain barrel.

Note: Aqua Fria Rain Barrels are warranted against damage from freezing temperatures provided they are used in an environment where daytime temperatures are above 40 degrees.  It is imperative that all but one of the mechanical fasteners that attach at the top to the body of the rain barrel are removed to allow for ice expansion.

If you live in an area where several days of below freezing temperatures could exist, we recommend completely draining the barrel for the winter.
